Delete Your Account

Use the in-app deletion flow or request deletion from the web. Zupali provides a 24-hour grace period before processing begins.

Last updated: September 19, 2026

1. Delete Your Account in the App

If you can sign in to Zupali, use the in-app path:

  1. Open Zupali and sign in.
  2. Open You / Profile and go to Safety and privacy.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Tap Request account deletion.
  5. Review the confirmation and submit.

2. 24-Hour Grace Period

After a valid request is submitted, Zupali schedules deletion after a 24-hour grace period. The app displays the scheduled time.

Before processing begins, you can return to the Delete Account screen and choose Cancel deletion request. Cancelling keeps the account active.

Processing timing: deletion processing begins after the grace period and is handled by a scheduled backend process. It may not complete at the exact second the 24-hour period ends.

3. Request Deletion Without the App

If you cannot sign in, have uninstalled the app, or cannot access the in-app deletion screen, you can start a deletion request by email without reinstalling Zupali.

Provide the email address associated with the account and enough non-sensitive information for us to identify it. Do not send your password or verification codes.

4. Verification

We may take reasonable steps to verify that the person requesting deletion is authorized to act on the account. Verification may use information already associated with the account. We will not ask you to send your password.

5. What Happens During Deletion

When processing begins, Zupali removes or anonymizes account-linked active data as appropriate, including the authentication account, profile and user media associated with the account.

Some information may be retained in a limited form when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse or child-safety investigations, dispute resolution, legal claims or compliance with applicable law.

6. Messages and Content Involving Other Users

Deletion removes the account and associated data under Zupali's control. Copies another person independently saved outside Zupali are outside our control. Limited conversation or moderation records may also be retained where necessary to preserve another user's conversation integrity, investigate abuse or meet legal obligations.

7. Backups and Technical Retention

Deleted information may remain temporarily in secure backups, logs or technical systems until those systems are overwritten or expire through normal retention processes. Retained backup data is not intended to remain available as an active profile.

8. Status or Help

For the status of a deletion request, or if you need help before processing starts, email support@zupali.com.

Never send your Zupali password, verification code, recovery code or financial credentials in an account-deletion request.

9. Privacy Information
